When adding a new ranking to your project, this dialog box will display. Use this dialog box to name the ranking and choose what keywords and search engines you would like to rank.
Name
Type a name for this ranking (optional). Ranking names can be used with report filtering. You may want to use this feature to separate out different types of rankings in the reports. For example, if you are tracking both natural and news listings, you might use the names 'Natural' and 'News' for the different rankings.
The Name box contains a list of unique names used for this project. That way if you are using a few set names, you can just select one from the list instead of typing the same name in over and over.
Ranking For
Performing a ranking queries the search engines for result data. Use this section to tell Website-Manager what keywords you want to query and which search engine to query. Your selections here are used as defaults the next time a ranking is ran. You can still changes these on a ranking-by-ranking basis.
Keywords Category
Select the category of keywords to use for this ranking. The default is the Library until you change it. If you plan on ranking for news search engines, you should create separate keyword categories for Natural and News searches and rank them separately. This will make reporting easier.
Search Engine Category
Select the category of search engines to use for this ranking. The default is the Active Library until you change it. It is highly recommended that you create your own search engine categories and use them. Ranking on all the search engines is impractical unless your Web site is translated into all the languages around the world.
