Engines Tab

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

Use the Engines tab to select the search engines you want to report on. The default is to report on all the search engines for the rankings included in the report. Uncheck the Use engines in the selected rankings option to report on specific search engines. The value to the right of a category name is the number of search engines in that category.

IN and NOT IN

Use these options to modify how the search engine categories selected are used in the report. When the IN option is selected, the search engines in the selected categories must match to show on the report. If the NOT IN option is selected, only the search engines that are not in the selected categories will show on the report.

Forcing a Sort Order

If you want choose the sort order for the search engines in the report, create a new category for this report and add your selected search engines to it. Then select your category here and check the box Use the selected category's ordering for this column on the report. The search engines will then display in the order presented in the category, ignoring any default sort settings for this column. Remember, the column needs to be displayed on the report for this option to make any sense.
