To send reports via email, Website-Manager needs to know information about your mail server.

Outgoing mail server

This is the name of your outgoing email server. It usually starts with 'mail.' and ends with your Internet Service Provider's (ISP) domain. For example, if you were on an Adelphia cable connection (like we have here in Atlanta, GA) then your email server would typically be mail.adelphia.net.

Outgoing server port

The default value is 25 and is almost never changed. Consult with your email provider if you feel this value needs to be changed.

Authentication

Check this box if you must login to your email account to send email. Many ISPs don't require this information because when you are connected to the Internet, you are connected through their network. So no authentication is necessary.

User Name

Type your user name in this field if your ISP requires authentication.

Password

Type your password in this field if your ISP requires authentication.
