Most users will never even need to make any changes to the engine options. Those that do will probably only change the Default Search Engine Options.

Speed Up or Slow Down Check Positions

To alter the speed of Check Positions, you will need to increase or decrease the values under Delays Between Pages and Keyword Settings. Setting all of these values to zero (0) will cause Check Positions to run at its fastest (not safe to do on a static IP address). For instance, with these settings set to zero, Check Positions can query and gather one page from Google in about 0.7 seconds. You actual speed may vary depending on your Internet connection and the speed of your computer. The default settings set a keyword/engine query to finish in about 15 seconds.

Adjust the Number of Pages Downloaded

Under Page Settings, select the value for Maximum Pages to Download and change this value. The default is 3 pages.
