When a Web browser is querying a search engine on the Internet, it's using a protocol called HTTP to communicate the query. This protocol forms the header for the request. This header is in plain text and sent by all Web browsers. Simply put, emulating a Web browser means to mimic this text when querying the search engine. Website-Manager can emulate any Web browser and accepts compressed content from the search engines. Many softwares that provide ranking data claim to emulate Web browsers, but fail to accept compressed content. Every modern Web Browser on the Internet today accepts compressed content.
