Request Header Settings

The Request Header Settings give you a chance to inject your own header values if you need to. Website-Manager will already pick a random browser for you and make all the appropriate settings.

Accept

The Accept header tells the search engine what types of documents the browser is able to accept. Each web browser has its own signature accept value. Many browsers allow you to change this value, but most users don't. Website-Manager will automatically set this value for you based on the browser it is emulating at the time of the search.

Accept-Language

The Accept-Language header tells the search engine what language you accept content in. Windows-based browsers use your locale settings for this value, which may not be desirable when ranking a web site. Website-Manager uses the default language for the search engine it is querying. For instance, if you are querying Google FR from the US, Website-Manager will either pass fr or fr_FR as the accept value. This prevents the search engine from redirecting Website-Manager to Google US. Enter a value here only if you have a good reason to, and usually, you'll want to override a specific search engine and not all of them.

User-Agent

The User-Agent header tells the search engine what web browser you are using. Website-Manager will automatically set this value for you based on the browser it is emulating at the time of the search.
