Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

There are several things you can do to keep your IP address from getting banned by a search engines.

Schedule your rankings to run at night unattended. This is more search engine friendly as there is less load on the search engines at night.
Set the delays between page gets to higher value. This is the amount of time Website-Manager waits before going to the next page of results.
Set the keyword delay to a higher value. This is the amount of time Website-Manager waits before submitting the next keyword query.
Use a larger ISP like AOL, MSN, Bellsouth, MindSpring, or CharterCable and be sure your connection is dynamic, that is, has a rotating IP address. If you are unsure, ask the sales representative.
