Website-Manager is very friendly to the search engines and avoids at all costs having to re-query a search engine for more data. When a keyword query is sent to a search engine, only the keywords are sent. Website-Manager will never send your URL or domain names to a search engine unless you enter them as a keyword. (For example, you could have a keyword that looks like this: site:mydomain.com.)
When a search engine result page (SERP) is returned, Website-Manager will extract every useful piece of information from that page and store it in its database. For example, when querying Google, Website-Manager extracts any spelling suggestions, sponsored ads that are located at the top or right side of the page, the total number of results the query generated, and all of the natural listings.
